When rehabilitation fails, who pays the price?
The consequences of failed rehabilitation do not remain behind correctional walls. They reach children, partners, neighborhoods, workplaces, taxpayers, and future generations.
When people return to their communities without meaningful education, treatment, job preparation, or reentry support, families may face greater instability, employers lose potential workers, and taxpayers continue funding a costly cycle of reincarceration.
